Right after the 2003 High School
football season in Mid-Michigan
concluded, I finally became inspired
enough to do something about the lack of
in-depth coverage of our area teams.
After a year of development,
fridaynighttitans.com, a site dedicated
to covering Mid-Michigan High School
football was launched in August of '04
right before the season began.
Year one saw a total of about 6 - 8,000
fans visit the site.
After a major upgrade in photography
equipment, a year under the site's belt
and a better understanding of what
needed to be done, I introduced the
fridaynighttitans.com first annual high
school football preview for
Mid-Michigan. I also added another
conference to the coverage area.
Three years later and headed towards my
third season of area football coverage,
the site has close to 50,000 fans and a
close relationship with most of the area
teams. For the third season we
have added three more conferences, the
Capital Area Conferences from the
Lansing area in addition to 12 others
from the Saginaw, Midland, Bay City and
Flint metro areas.
In addition to fridaynighttitans.com, we
are introducing legendsofhardwood.com in
the winter of '06, which will be
dedicated to covering Mid-Michigan area
hoops. You can expect to see a
similar look and feel to FNT. No
plans have been made to cover any more
sports in the near future, but with the
unveiling of Friday Night Media
Photography, we will covering spring
sports and making images readily
available for viewing and for purchase.
For more details on Friday Night Pix,
please visit the
Pix
section. The photography part of
Friday Night Media will have prints
available all year round online, as well
as posters, and other specialty items.
Thanks for visiting our site! If
you have any suggestions or would like
to help out with the football our
basketball seasons, just let us know.
We appreciate your support!
Anything we can do better to showcase
our great tradition of sports here in
Mid-Michigan makes all of the time spent
more than worth it.
Friday Night Media and its subsidiaries
are owned and operated by Matthew A.
Anderson.
